TRADITIONAL ARCHERY
Archery Classes (8 lessons per season)

Fee: $160 a child, $280 for two children
Summer Session: June 22-July 15 (Mon and Wed, 8 classes)
Time: 7:30 - 8:30 pm
Fall Session: Sep 12 - Oct 31 (8 Saturdays)
Time: 6-7 pm
Course Structure:
The courses are taught in small groups with a maximum of 20 people being taught so that everyone gets plenty of one-to-one coaching as well as part of the group.
In addition, the courses are designed for beginner and intermediate youth and adults but are also suitable for those looking to come back to the sport after a period out.

Course Instruction:
- Introduction to equipment and safe handling
- Proper shooting techniques and postur
- Target practice with progressive skill-building
- Cultural and historical aspects of traditional archery
The Course covers:
Equipment will be provided!! but participants are encouraged to bring theirs if they have any!
With a traditional Turkish Bow (recurve bow), you will learn about safety, archery etiquette, basic equipment knowledge, scoring, and shooting at the full outdoor distance of 30-40 yards.
Upon completion of this course, we hope that you will continue to shoot with us on special occasions such as Nomad Games and international competitions of traditional archery around the world.
Having completed this course, you will also be eligible to join any other Archery club in Maryland, USA (Subject to their terms & conditions).
